Project: St Helens - Bus Interchange Glass Canopies
Following our HSEQ Forum held in St Helens on Friday, attended by the VBUK construction Director, Regional Contracts Managers, Project Managers, H&S Manager and QA Manager, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the positive feedback received during the site walk and subsequent review meeting.
The project team was recognised for the high standards being maintained across the site, particularly with regard to the effective segregation of plant and operatives, housekeeping, material storage, and PPE compliance. These comments reflect the commitment, professionalism, and diligence demonstrated by everyone involved in the project.
This level of recognition reinforces that the decisions taken in procuring and managing our current work packages have been the correct ones and are delivering the standards expected by both the client and the business.
Following a week of detailed logistics reviews, both workstreams are now in a strong and well-controlled position. We have established a high benchmark for site operations, and it is essential that we continue to maintain these standards consistently through to project completion.
As we move forward, our focus should now turn towards further strengthening site behaviours. While significant progress has been made, there remains an opportunity to enhance our performance in this area and ensure that the positive culture established on site continues to develop.
Please extend our thanks and appreciation to all site staff and operatives for their hard work, commitment, and contribution to this achievement. Their efforts have played a key role in the positive recognition received, and their continued professionalism will be critical to maintaining this momentum.
Thank you all for your ongoing dedication and support. Let's continue to build on this success and maintain the high standards that have been set.
Kind Regards
Stuart Turner
