Our scope of work:
Trafford Palazzo is a striking leisure and retail destination in TraffordCity, Manchester, known for its grand Italian-inspired architecture, sweeping colonnades, and large open atrium spaces. Situated next to the Trafford Centre, the mall blends shopping, dining, family attractions, and entertainment under one elegant roof. Its spacious layout, distinctive facade, and constant footfall make it a key landmark in the area — and a uniquely challenging environment for construction, maintenance, and specialist access operations.
Our team was entrusted with creating the Safe System of Works for safely undertaking the contracted scope of works, managing the coordination of works on site and dealing with part of the logistic management and access equipment.
The primary scope of works includes integrating two new AOV systems within the existing West and East rooflights, along with installing a Euro Panel cladding system to the lower sections to enhance the Mall’s internal thermal performance. Our package forms part of a wider programme of upgrade works across multiple areas of the Mall, scheduled to take place over the winter period — a timeframe that introduces several season-specific operational challenges.
