Client: Levolux
Project Name: Redevelopment of the White Hart Lane Overground Station
End Client: TFL Overground
Main Contractor: Taylor Woodrow
Our scope of work:
This
installation consisted of a bespoke 2-piece extrusion framework fixed back to
the primary steels. The construction methodology enabled all fixing back to the
structure to be hidden. The decorative plant pots were made from cast
aluminium, fixed to a horizontal rail, and subsequently fixed to the extruded
framework.
Where glass
fins are present, these were structurally bonded to glass shoes which are fixed
directly into the framework. The full construction was finished off with 3mm
bespoke aluminium fascia panels with a helping hand brackets system subgrid to complete
the look.
Well-planned
lifting operations involved the use of mobile craneage with combined access from
cherry pickers, scissor lifts and mobile towers while working alongside the
live track.
